Defiant Media Group
Stories That Matter. Voices That Refuse to Be Silenced.
We were founded on a simple belief: the most powerful stories are the ones people are afraid to tell.
In a world that feeds you polished, comfortable narratives, we choose the raw and the real. We smash the noise. We grab the mic. We refuse to be silent. Every author who joins Defiant Media Group shares a common purpose — we don't write because it's easy. We write because our experiences, lessons, struggles, and victories have the potential to help someone else.
Whether through memoirs that pull no punches, children's books with heart, practical journals for real growth, or podcasts that speak honestly about mental health, addiction, and recovery — our mission is to create content that inspires growth, encourages honest conversations, and reminds people they are not alone.
Media is not dead. It's just been waiting for voices defiant enough to tell the truth.

“Sometimes the greatest journey isn't finding where you belong. It's discovering who you are along the way.”— Jeremy Eichenberger
Not a self-help book.
A true story.
An Odyssey of Oddities: The Lost Stories Edition is an unfiltered look into the life of a young man who was deeply flawed, relentlessly searching for purpose, and ultimately lost himself in the process.
It is not filled with easy answers or motivational clichés. Instead, it's a raw and often uncomfortable journey through the darker corners of society, chronicling addiction, chaos, heartbreak, and survival.
At its core, however, this story is about hope.
A Memoir, Not a Manual
Jeremy writes from lived experience — not theory. Every story happened. Every lesson was earned the hard way.
Unflinchingly Honest
Addiction, loss, chaos — nothing is sanitized. This is the version Jeremy's father never got to read, now told in full.
Born from Loss
After losing his father in 2024, Jeremy felt a renewed responsibility to tell his story completely — not just the pain, but the victories too.
A Story About Hope
Even the most broken paths can lead somewhere meaningful — if we keep moving forward.
Stories That Land
We don't chase reviews. But when someone tells us a book changed how they see their own story — that's the whole point.
“I've never read anything that honest about addiction. It felt like Jeremy was sitting across from me, telling me the version of the story most people are too scared to share. I finished it in two days and immediately started over.”
Reader review
An Odyssey of Oddities
“This isn't a self-help book. It's a mirror. If you've ever felt like your story is too messy to matter, read this.”

An Odyssey of Oddities
“My kid struggles with big feelings and Pickles Learns to Cope With Anger gave us a way to talk about it that didn't feel like a lecture. The coloring activities made it fun instead of scary.”
Parent review
Pickles The Cat series
“The journal kept me accountable for 90 days. Not perfectly — honestly — but enough that I actually started to see change. That's more than any app ever did for me.”

Jeremy Eichenberger
Born and raised in Alaska, Jeremy often describes himself as “just a kid chasing a dream to find a place where he belongs.” In 2023 he became a published author with the original release of An Odyssey of Oddities. Following the loss of his father and encouragement from close friends who reminded him his story was about far more than hardship, he released The Lost Stories Edition — the most complete version of his journey yet.

Bear's Ride for PTSD began as a simple idea with a deeply personal purpose. Jeramie “Bear” Walker — a Fancy Mammals Podcast guest who joined the show to talk about battling PTSD and bringing awareness across the country — decided to organize a motorcycle ride to raise money for Camp HOPE and the PTSD Foundation of America.
Camp HOPE is a Houston-based charity dedicated to helping veterans who are struggling with PTSD — through support, counseling, and community. Every dollar raised on the ride goes straight toward that mission.
